2. Inputs used

Exactly two of: kW, kVA, kVAR, power factor.

3. Formulas and assumptions

kVA² = kW² + kVAR² PF = kW / kVA = cos φ

Sinusoidal, balanced quantities.
Magnitudes only: leading and lagging are not distinguished.

4. What is NOT checked

Distortion power from harmonics (true power factor versus displacement power factor).
